Lorelei FFF (2018 bay registered Holsteiner mare) by Conway II (Caretino)/Campesino (Capitol I)/Concerto II (Contender)
Bred from Holsteiner "royalty", we purchased Lorelei in 2022 as a broodmare prospect, but due to her refined beauty and athletic potential, as well as her kind and willing temperament, we decided to develop her for a sport career first.
Chloe has been working with Lorelei building a foundation for strength and self carriage, which will be followed by low level training in the art of classical dressage prior to resuming her training as a jumper.
** Sire: Conway II is a full brother to Conway, a successful 1.6-meter jumper by Caretino, one of the top stallions in Holstein. Conway II himself performed to 1.4 meters prior to an injury, after which he was retired for breeding. Conway II has not gained nearly the popularity he deserves. He is known to produce refinement without adding size, and a quiet, willing temperament. Conway II is out of a superior dam line Wodka II (Lord/Ramiro Z) and is a half-brother to the many successful sons of Caretino, including Casall, Cisco, Cosmeo, Freestyle, Jac Potes and others.
** Dam: Urban Cowgirl (Campesino/Concerto II) brings the bloodlines of the highly successful Holsteiner sires, Capitol I, Sacramento Song xx, and Contender.
Lorelei may be leased under the guidance of Chloe as an opportunity to participate in preparing a lovely young horse to be ridden, who is full of talent, beauty and elegance.
